Overview
Job Description
In the initial stages (1-6 months), serve as the principle liaison with our customers
throughout the cycle of project involvement; from initial call through design, sale,
delivery, installation, acceptance and service/follow through. Thereafter develop
yourself as a Sales Manager.
Sales Manager is responsible for all aspects of Bastian Sales in the defined Territory. He
coordinates with the Director to help lead the company. Sales Manager is responsible for
building a strong growing sales team through excellent recruiting and retaining great
sales talent. He assists the Director in executing BASTIAN's strategic business goals.

achieve their long term interests.
Demonstrated Leadership
Ability to close large sales (>1 Crore) against leading competitors.

Superior Customer Service (as measured by our customers: repeat business and
reputation).
Consistent communications with the Bastian Management Team. Communicates
bad news (loss of monies on jobs, HR issues, etc.) in addition to good news.

Director- Business Development
Requirements
Engineer with Minimum 4-7 years of experience in practical sales experience in
the Material Handling Industry.
MBA would be an added qualification
Strong computer skills with: MS Office, MS CRM

General Responsibilities
Generate and achieve Sales Goal. Track monthly progress.
Good use of MS CRM Opportunities to track the status of incoming leads.
Coordinates with Marketing to Target key National Accounts (Customer Databases
and use of MS CRM)
Out in the field to close key orders
Promotes BASTIAN's Strengths to Win Orders
Responsible for all quote templates
Responsible for generating & maintaining costing templates
Master business technology (AutoCAD, HyCAD, HEROES, presentations, etc.).
Plan strategies for territory penetration/account management.
Continually enhance internal and external processes (automation, policies,
procedures, etc.)
Work with Marketing to create Case Studies and Press Releases
Maintains extremely strong customer relationships (the strength of a systems
integrator)
Negotiate discounts with suppliers
Make & Review major proposals (greater than 1 Cr) for accuracy and risk
assessment (terms and conditions) prior to release.
Ensure there has been a good handover of information from the sales personnel to
the project managers.
Prepare all sales forecasts and create the new annual budgets.
Create and monitor performance metrics vs. goal.
Customer Satisfaction calls to follow-up on how we are doing.
Develop new Accounts (New Business Development)
Review and validate the accuracy of the Sales Revenue Report Monthly and that
commissions have been calculated correctly.
Conduct Post Mortem analysis of jobs lost
