Job Description

We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Executive with a minimum of 2-3 years of proven success in IT sales, particularly in the B2B sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts and technologies, enabling them to effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients. As a key member of our sales team, the Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding our client base.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations according to the specific needs of prospective clients.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, including business owners, managers, and decision-makers, to understand their cybersecurity needs and present our solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and generate accurate sales forecasts.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets. Identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement in the sales process
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in cybersecurity to effectively position our solutions.
  • Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements
  • Conduct market research (analyse competitors, the efficiency of sales strategies, etc. Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships within the industry. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
  • Continuously improve sales processes and identify opportunities for business growth.

Candidate Skills

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the cybersecurity or IT industry.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions is highly preferred.

Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Excellent presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Any vendor natural business development training and certification will be preferred.
