- Deep consumer insights market understanding: Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competition to identify new innovations and opportunities. Understand the customer deeply and be the face of all Consumer-led conversation for the Business unit.
- Driving growth: Own the end-to-end customer funnel view and performance to drive users, engagement conversion for categories. Work with product, engineering, brand marketing, design other central teams to develop the long term plan on acquisition retention. Track performance of marketing efforts and keep learning, iterating innovating to grow further.
- Managing Marketing: Define product positioning for the customer and build the marketing plan across channels incl. in-app, CRM, social, PR, performance brand campaigns. Liaison between stakeholders in design, marketing, product etc. to drive execution. Lead event management planning, strategy execution for the category.
- Merchandising strategy execution: Build the merchandising content strategy by combining consumer behaviour and category understanding, plan, execute and constantly innovate the same. Define the business requirements for building merchandising frameworks and work with product design teams to being them to life.
As a category marketing lead you would be expected to demonstrate deep customer centricity, strong marketing and story-telling coupled with analytical mindset and sharp planning capabilities.
