Role Purpose:
The Retail Business and System Analyst will play a crucial role in building our Cash and Carry retailing model in KSA through effective analysis, process improvement, and system enhancements. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and end-users, to understand requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Role Details Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Retail IT Systems Expertise:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of various Retail IT systems, including point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, merchandising, and customer relationship management (CRM), WMS, Planogram Pricing and Promotion management systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in Retail IT systems and recommend innovative solutions.
Retail System Implementation:
- Exposure in Retail ERP implementation projects, ensuring successful integration with our existing systems.
- Customizing ERP modules to align with our retail-specific requirements and business processes.
Business Requirements Analysis:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document their requirements for IT solutions.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and technical requirements.
- Create process diagram in the logical sequence.
Solution Design and Documentation:
- Develop comprehensive solution designs, process flows, and system architecture diagrams to guide development teams.
- Create detailed documentation of system configurations, data mappings, and user guides.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication between business units and IT teams, ensuring alignment and understanding of project goals and objectives.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, issues, and risks.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Plan, execute, and oversee testing efforts, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Perform QA to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions.
Change Management:
- Assist in the development and execution of change management plans to ensure a smooth transition to new IT systems and processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users to maximize system utilization.
Qualification, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the retail industry.
- Proven experience with Retail ERP modules and Retail IT systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in Retail IT.
