Role: Business Operations Product Management

The Business Operations Product specialist is a key new function in the product organization as we move to a data oriented, KPI driven, more disciplined organization that can, in real time, produce data that shows the performance of each business unit and other relevant KPIs that helps us manage and optimize the business. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven business operations person to join our Product Management Organization. In this role, you will wear 2 hats:
Business Operations: Defining (jointly with the business leaders) the right metrics that will be used to measure success. Measure, baseline and audit those metrics to generate weekly, monthly and yearly reports. Partner with the product heads to use those metrics to make business decisions (investment decisions, ROI based prioritization, portfolio rationalization, etc).
Chief of staff. In this role, you will support the Chief Product Officer organizing and coordinating cross-BU activities such as staff meetings, product review board, cross-BU innovation forum, etc. This is a critical role to help us execute our one Mobileum vision.

Key responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Data Collection: Gather and compile data from the various lines of business and various departments (sales, customer support, product development) to assess performance.
Performance Metrics: Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success.
Reporting: Generate regular reports for management to inform strategic decisions.
Project Management:
Manage cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring they align with company goals and timelines.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in operations and devise mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Communication:
Liaison Role: Act as a point of contact between different teams (e.g., engineering, marketing, sales) to facilitate collaboration.
Meeting Facilitation: Organize and lead meetings to discuss operational strategies and gather feedback.
Financial Oversight:
Budget Management: Assist the multiple product management teams in developing and monitoring departmental and Business Unit budgets.
Cost Analysis: Analyze operational costs and identify areas for potential savings.
Strategic Planning Support:
Measure and report progress towards implementation of Product Management Transformation initiatives.
Business Strategy Development: Assist and contribute to the development of long-term business strategies and goals.
Market Research: Partner with corporate marketing and the product managers to collect research to identify market trends and competitive positioning.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Software, or a related field from a Tier-1 University. A master's degree is a plus.
Relevant experience in business operations, preferably within the software or telecommunications industry. Experience with roaming Value-Added Services or telecom software desirable. Experience as a project, program or product management is a plus.
Skills:
Strong understanding of software/telecommunications business operations. Including analyzing financial and operational KPIs such as bookings, revenue, collections, customer tickets, software productivity, etc.
Financial acumen: Understanding of financial principles to help the Product Management organization manage budgets and analyze costs.
Technical acumen: Familiarity with software, technology and, ideally, telecommunications to help identify key metrics and relevant trends that are particularly important for Mobileum.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Analytical skills. Expert in translating data into visual representations that help assess trends, identify gaps and drive business decisions.
Project management. Ability to manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively. Ability to work cross-functionally.
Proficiency in market research and data analysis.
Experience with Business Intelligence tools and systems.
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), Excel.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
