Primary Purpose:


Responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing existing client relationships in the industry. They work closely with various departments and stakeholders to understand the needs and expectations of the clients, and to propose solutions that meet their requirements and budget. Secure and retain business through professional, consultative, and proactive sales of Veridix products directed at decision-makers and decision influencers at target sponsors.

Responsibilities:


Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers within the Account and develop in-depth knowledge of the customer organization.
Developing and implementing strategic business development plans and marketing campaigns to promote the company's services and products.
Establishing and maintaining contact with key decision-makers and influencers in the target organizations
Preparing and delivering presentations, proposals, and contracts to the clients, highlighting the value proposition and benefits of the company's offerings
Negotiating and closing deals with the clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term collaboration
Coordinating with the project management, clinical operations, and IT teams to ensure smooth delivery of the contracted services and products.
Providing regular feedback and reports to the management on the status and performance of the business development activities and client satisfaction
Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified customer account(s).
Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate leads
Maintain general knowledge of all Emme's services for appropriate cross-sell opportunities.
Handle follow-up related to the sale and drive completion of contractual documents.
Keeping abreast of the latest trends, developments, and best practices in the clinical research and IT domains
Aggressively pursue awareness of competitive activities, positioning, and pricing, which includes specific reasons for awards and non-awards.
Identify and respond to customer needs to define potential opportunities. Propose appropriate strategy/solution to the customer.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


A bachelor's degree or higher in life sciences, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the clinical research and IT sectors.
A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and generating new business opportunities.
A strong knowledge of the clinical research and IT industry, including the regulatory, ethical, and quality standards, the market dynamics, and the competitive landscape.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
A high level of professionalism, integrity, and customer orientation.
A creative, proactive, and results-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
A willingness and ability to travel frequently and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
A proficiency in using various software tools and applications, such as CRM, MS Office, and web conferencing platforms.
