Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, competitors, and market trends.
- Analyze market dynamics, customer preferences, and regulatory landscape related to EV chargers.
Lead Generation:
- Develop strategies to generate leads through various channels, including digital marketing, events, partnerships, and networking.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns to attract potential customers.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
- Implement and maintain a CRM system to track customer interactions, manage leads, and streamline the sales process.
- Foster positive relationships with existing and potential customers through regular communication.
Product Knowledge and Training:
- Stay updated on the latest EV charger technologies, industry standards, and product features.
- Provide ongoing training to the sales team to ensure they are well-versed in the technical aspects of EV chargers.
Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:
- Develop compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of EV chargers.
- Conduct customer presentations to effectively communicate the value proposition and address customer concerns.
Proposal Development and Pricing:
- Create customized proposals based on customer needs and requirements.
- Work closely with the pricing team to establish competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
Negotiation and Closing Deals:
- Develop negotiation strategies to secure favourable terms and close deals.
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contract compliance and timely closures.
Post-Sales Support:
- Coordinate with the support and installation teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
- Provide ongoing support to customers, addressing any post-sales issues or concerns.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish Objectives and Key Results (OKR) to measure the success.
- Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline status, and other relevant metrics to management.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about regulations and incentives related to EV charging infrastructure.
- Ensure that the sales team is knowledgeable about compliance requirements and can guide customers accordingly.
