Business Development Lead:
Educational Qualification:Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related technical field.
Responsibilities Include:
- Research: As a B2B Business development lead, delve deep to understand the businesses poised to gain the most from our offerings, identifying the demographics of potential prospects and devising effective strategies to engage them. It's crucial to pinpoint the critical decision-makers within organizations and establish a direct connection with them.
- Prospecting: Initiate engagement by sending cold emails and LinkedIn messages to potential customers, gradually building their interest in our services. Guiding other SDRs in prospecting and building the pipeline.
- Discovery: Conduct swift need assessments to gauge the alignment between our solutions and the prospects requirements. The discovery phase should focus on understanding the prospects prevailing challenges, business goals, and budgetary constraints.
- Sales Pitch and Demo: Tailor your sales pitch to address the specific challenges prospects face and be prepared to manage objections adeptly. Collaborate seamlessly with field sales teams when necessary.
- Lead Nurturing: Acquire a solid grasp of the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and industry segment to nurture prospects effectively and lead toward a sales-ready state.
- Negotiation and Closure: Exhibit strong negotiation skills to traverse the journey from discussions to converting engagements into paid contracts.
- Work with the Leadership team to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals.
- General responsibilities for implementing or maintaining the Information Security policy, as well as any specific responsibilities for the protection of assets, or for the execution of security processes or activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6+ yearsof experience in Selling a Software Product or enterprise SAAS to mid-market companies (50 to 500 million).
- Experience in international market specifically US, Europe, or Australia.
- Willingness to work in the time zone of the geographical market assigned to.
- Hands-on experience of CRM/prospecting tools like LinkedIn, Email drip tools like Outreach and Zoho CRM are an added advantage.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Commanding desire to learn and succeed in tech sales and business development lead.
- Should have strong communication skills along with good analytical skills.
