Overview: UNI Application Portal Ltd (UAP) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Executive to lead our efforts in recruiting international students from Gujarat, India. We are looking for a proactive individual who excels in building partnerships, devising innovative recruitment strategies, and driving business growth. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring our team functions effectively and remains competitive in the global student recruitment market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Vision:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to expand UAP's presence in Gujarat, boost international student enrolment, and form crucial partnerships with top educational institutions.
- Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of educational trends, competitor activities, and emerging markets within Gujarat.
- Continuously innovate and adapt strategies in response to changes in the market and educational landscape to maintain UAPâs competitive advantage.
Partnership Development:
- Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships with Indian universities, educational consortia, and recruitment agencies to support international student recruitment efforts.
- Manage partnership agreements to ensure alignment with UAP's strategic objectives and compliance requirements, and monitor their implementation and success.
- Strengthen B2B partnerships by engaging with educational agents and universities, enhancing the network for student recruitment and driving enrolment growth.
Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and implement tailored sales and marketing strategies to promote UAPâs services to potential partners and students in Gujarat. This includes creating marketing materials, attending industry events, and delivering presentations.
- Utilise digital marketing techniques, direct communication, and active participation in educational fairs and seminars to drive recruitment campaigns.
Student Recruitment:
- Lead targeted international student recruitment campaigns, leveraging digital marketing, direct communication, and participation in educational fairs and seminars across Gujarat.
- Utilise CRM strategies to manage prospective student inquiries effectively, optimising conversion rates from initial contact through to application and enrolment.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the admissions and academic departments to streamline the application and enrolment processes, ensuring a smooth transition for international students.
Reporting, Analytics, and Operational Excellence:
- Develop a robust reporting framework to monitor the effectiveness of recruitment and partnership strategies, using data analytics for informed decision-making.
- Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, offering insights and strategic recommendations based on detailed analysis.
- Manage the student admission process in collaboration with the Admissions department, ensuring efficient processing of applications.
- Produce reports and presentations for management meetings, accurately representing pipelines, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
- Administer agent accounts and compile performance reports to evaluate and enhance their contribution to recruitment goals.
- Conduct and facilitate training sessions, mock interviews, and other preparatory activities for applicants, ensuring they are well-prepared for the application process.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelorâs degree in business administration, marketing, education, or a related field; masterâs degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in international student recruitment within the higher education sector, with a proven track record of achieving recruitment targets.
- Strong understanding of global higher education systems, admissions processes, and student visa regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract students from Gujarat.
- Results-oriented with a focus on driving measurable outcomes and achieving enrolment goals.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software; familiarity with student recruitment platforms and tools preferred.
- Fluency in English and Gujarati is essential for effective communication with students and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel domestically as required.
