An Ahmedabad-based IT company is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented
Business Development Executive (BDE) to join their team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in IT Sales, Client Acquisition, and Client Relationship Management, with a strong focus on driving revenue and achieving sales targets. This position requires someone with excellent communication skills, proficiency in CRM software like Salesforce or HubSpot, and a proactive approach to client engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Market Research:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, social media outreach, networking, and other online channels.
- Conduct in-depth market research to stay updated on industry trends, potential target markets, and business opportunities.
- Qualify and nurture leads, collaborating with the sales team to develop tailored sales approaches.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Understand and analyze client requirements, offering solutions that meet their business goals.
- Actively follow up on leads and maintain regular communication with clients to facilitate smooth conversions.
- Sales & Negotiation:
- Work alongside the sales team to create and deliver presentations and proposals that clearly communicate the value of the company's IT solutions.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contract conditions with clients to close deals efficiently and achieve or exceed individual sales targets.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and a strategic approach to maximize deal value.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design strategies that generate leads, build brand awareness, and engage potential clients.
- Provide feedback to product and service teams based on client insights to enhance the overall product experience.
- Communicate market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to optimize offerings and stay ahead in the market.
- Reporting & CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and progress in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Generate reports on sales performance, pipeline health, and insights for senior management.
- Set and monitor sales targets, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve monthly and quarterly goals.
- Networking & Events:
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings to foster connections with potential clients.
- Build a positive brand image and awareness through consistent and professional networking efforts.
Key Requirements
- Experience: 1-3 years in business development, IT sales, or client acquisition, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with CRM software, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of IT services and solutions sales, with an understanding of technical concepts.
- Communication & Negotiation Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills to maintain positive client connections.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving:
- Ability to conduct thorough market research and identify opportunities, with a strategic approach to closing deals.
