Job Title: Business Development Executive (IT Sales)

Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Experience: 1-3 years

Salary: Competitive, up to 40k per month

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

Job Overview

An Ahmedabad-based IT company is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive (BDE) to join their team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in IT Sales, Client Acquisition, and Client Relationship Management, with a strong focus on driving revenue and achieving sales targets. This position requires someone with excellent communication skills, proficiency in CRM software like Salesforce or HubSpot, and a proactive approach to client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Market Research:
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, social media outreach, networking, and other online channels.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to stay updated on industry trends, potential target markets, and business opportunities.
  • Qualify and nurture leads, collaborating with the sales team to develop tailored sales approaches.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Understand and analyze client requirements, offering solutions that meet their business goals.
  • Actively follow up on leads and maintain regular communication with clients to facilitate smooth conversions.
  • Sales & Negotiation:
  • Work alongside the sales team to create and deliver presentations and proposals that clearly communicate the value of the company's IT solutions.
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contract conditions with clients to close deals efficiently and achieve or exceed individual sales targets.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and a strategic approach to maximize deal value.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design strategies that generate leads, build brand awareness, and engage potential clients.
  • Provide feedback to product and service teams based on client insights to enhance the overall product experience.
  • Communicate market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to optimize offerings and stay ahead in the market.
  • Reporting & CRM Management:
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and progress in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Generate reports on sales performance, pipeline health, and insights for senior management.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve monthly and quarterly goals.
  • Networking & Events:
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings to foster connections with potential clients.
  • Build a positive brand image and awareness through consistent and professional networking efforts.

Key Requirements

  • Experience: 1-3 years in business development, IT sales, or client acquisition, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with CRM software, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of IT services and solutions sales, with an understanding of technical concepts.
  • Communication & Negotiation Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present complex ideas clearly.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills to maintain positive client connections.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving:
  • Ability to conduct thorough market research and identify opportunities, with a strategic approach to closing deals.
  • Goal-oriented, self-driven, and able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
