Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of experience working in data analytics, consulting, data science, engineering, or a technical operations role.
4 years of experience in statistical problem solving and analyzing data sets using SQL or comparable coding language (e.g. Python, R, Java, C++).
Preferred qualifications:
3 years of experience in scripting, statistical analysis (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS, SAS), developing and managing metrics, and evaluating programs/products.
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
3 year of experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership

In this role, you will join a team that works on a variety of data science projects to drive product decisions for Google Play. As a Business Analyst, you will be a thought partner from project ideation to experimentation, and our analysis consistently sets the strategy for the wider area. You will partner with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. You will help Engineers, PMs, UX, and other cross-functional stakeholders to build amazing products that delight our users.

Responsibilities
Identify and structure business problems, communicate challenges and opportunities.
Produce insights and metrics for various technical and business stakeholders.
Deliver presentations of findings and recommendations, creating visual displays of quantitative information.
Follow engineering best practices to create scalable data pipelines and models.
Engage and influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners, obtain buy in for potential solutions, adapt messaging and suggested recommendations.
