Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team at FCM India. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders to understand needs, analyze requirements, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, a deep understanding of business processes, and experience driving solutions that improve business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements for various projects.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable system requirements, user stories, and specifications.
- Analyze and map current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, and Process Flows.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood and implemented accurately.
- Participate in the testing process, helping define test cases, coordinating testing efforts, and ensuring solutions meet business needs.
- Identify, track, and communicate project risks, issues, and deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business users to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
- Provide ongoing support and optimization for business systems, ensuring they meet evolving business requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) is a plus.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the travel, technology, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of business processes, requirements gathering, and documentation.
- Proven ability to analyze complex business problems and recommend data-driven solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the corporate travel or travel management industry.
- Knowledge of travel booking systems and related technologies.
- Experience with process improvement and business transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or other enterprise systems.
