7+ years of industry experience, with at least 6+ years in a technical architect role designing applications and hosting solutions as public/private cloud SaaS PaaS and IaaS platforms.
At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud native architecture design, implementation of distributed, fault-tolerant enterprise applications for cloud.
Experience in application migration and modernization of legacy applications to Azure cloud platforms
Familiarity of principles summarized in the Azure Cloud Adoption and Well-Architected Frameworks
Deep expertise of architecting and designing end-to-end Azure solutions architecture, recommending best cloud architecture patterns suiting the business problems, (Integrating services like: API Management, Azure Event Grid, Service Bus, Storage queues, Azure App Service Web Apps, Functions, Azure storage etc.)
Working experience of designing approach and migrating solution from on-prem leveraging Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AKS, OpenShift or ARO container platforms
Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, ARM Templates, Azure Policies, Azure Blueprints
Knowledge & experience on cloud networking
Understanding of data services including Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Data Lake, Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse and when to use each
Preferred Experience
Knowledge of Generative AI Architecture Patterns and experience with building cloud native AI applications
Full-stack prior experience including web (Java/.Net/Angular), FE, API, Data Design and Cloud hosting.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture, design and implementation creating cloud architecture leveraging PaaS and IaaS
Understanding of Network Security, Azure Policy and Blueprints, Azure Monitor and Azure Security and governance-compliance mechanisms in general
Working knowledge of supporting IaaS migration & implementation via Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, and VMware
Can independently provide proof of concepts, analysis of alternatives, and brief their results to client stakeholders
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communicator
Deep technical backgrounds, experience building world-class cloud solutions and strong leadership skills.
Candidates with cloud solution architect certifications will be preferred (AZ204, 305, 900)
