Organizational Overview

The Performance Marketing Team is the engine behind business growth as it handles the majority of marketing activities. This includes targeting the right audience through campaigns, distributing content via channel marketing, conducting a thorough analysis of campaign launches and budgets, and also ensuring compliance via surveillance and governance all to maximize results and maintain a competitive edge. Together this team drives ROI and elevates Synchrony's brand presence in a dynamic market.

Role Summary/Purpose

As AVP, Campaign Operations you will be an integral member of the Growth marketing within Synchrony Financial, India. In this role, you will collaborate closely with client marketing managers to identify new or standard marketing campaign possibilities as Individual contributor. Your responsibilities will encompass the execution of omnichannel campaigns, offering insights for strategy and optimization and suggesting future marketing initiatives. Additionally, you will also play a key role in the transition of work from offer to journey based campaign approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Data Management :- Manage processing of marketing campaigns by adhering to campaign process control compliance with SYF guidelines
  • Stakeholder collaboration and strategy :- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop customer targeting strategy while facilitating multi-channel implementation and design forward thinking marketing approaches
  • Process improvement and leadership :- Proactively propose and execute process improvements, mentor the team members on process skills and Proactively discuss the projects, showcase & drive for implementation and gauge the business impact

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in financial domain, or in lieu of a degree 6+ years of experience in financial domain
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in SAS and SQL
  • Solid interpersonal skills at all organizational levels, including the ability to communicate effectively and influence others in the business

Desired Skills/Knowledge

  • Experience in Python.
  • Proven ability to manage and execute campaigns in a detail-oriented environment.
  • Having good understanding of Digital marketing i.e., targeting audiences via digital platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new procedures/programs.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience in financial domain, or in lieu of a degree 6+ years of experience in financial domain

Work Timings: This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
