Basic Function

  • Lead Enterprise Automation and Applications Projects & Initiatives managing deeper engagements with stakeholders from Functions and corporate and drive Functional-Technology Roadmap
  • Lead and drive scoping, solutioning, delivery, implementation and adoption of enterprise capabilities across EXL Enterprise
  • Planning, Monitoring and Controlling multiple projects using organizational processes and techniques
  • Participate in evaluation and recommendation of Information Systems strategy for the Enterprise including short-term and long-term roadmap/plans.
  • Drive partnership and alliances with OEM/Suppliers/Partners for capacity creation, skill augmentation, support and go-to-market capabilities
  • Quickly adoptable to organization's process framework, enterprise environment with a self-starter and go getter attitude
  • Should be a team player, building relations with other cross-functional teams thereby jointly delivering organizational objectives

Essential Functions

  • Participate/Drive Ideation and innovation strategies with Enterprise (Enabling Functions & Corporate), value showcasing from selected Initiatives
  • Manage qualitatively, multiple application enablement initiatives across enterprise and effective tracking & reporting to Sponsors/Stakeholders
  • Interface/Liaison with Functions for all Technology related deliveries, define the requirements for services, tools, data and process to be use across multiple clients
  • Perform high level assessment of business need, create project charter, understand project's vision and requirement and contribute to scoping discussions
  • Perform initial project feasibility (ROI), business case analysis for qualitative and quantitative benefit realization
  • Prepare project plan, manage project budget and schedule during delivery, handle internal and external stakeholder updates through governance and risk management
  • Plan measures to track project progress and quality of work, manage changes, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Lead performance management activities including skill development, review and appraisals, recognition and coaching of team members
  • Leverage talent / resources on the team to generate results

Skills

Technical Skills

  • Experience of managing Enterprise Applications using multiple technology stacks including Dot Net framework, Java / J2EE, Open Source, Cloud Native development (Azure, AWS), Mobile Apps, Intelligent Automation (AI/ML)
  • Experience with external SaaS and IaaS platforms with familiarity on service bus technologies and software integration models is desirable.
  • Experience negotiating software purchase and support agreements as well as crafting and reviewing large integrator and consultancy Statements of Work (SOW's) is essential.
  • Sound hands-on capability to implement Agile Project Management techniques, DevOps, Test Driven Development, KPI and SLA management
  • Expertise in visualizing and designing scalable and robust solution basis various architectural aspects of software engineering
  • Well versed in estimation of work using various methodologies eg. Function Point Analysis, Work Break Down Structure etc
  • Understanding of estimating infrastructure need in term of server's compute, storage and network bandwidth requirements in collaboration with respective SMEs
  • Experience in using project and bug management tools eg. Clarizen, JIRA, TFS etc.
  • Industry recognized certification like PMP, Prince2 is an advantage
  • Knowledge of basic and advanced deliverytools such as Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio

Education Requirements

  • Graduate, preference for degree in Computer Science (MCA/BE/BTech) with industry recognized certifications

Work Experience Requirements

  • A total of 10-15 years in managing various aspect of Application Delivery (Solutioning, Project Management)
  • At least 6-8 years in managing Application Deliveries and Support (including Enterprise Applications) end-to-end Project delivery management (including scoping/requirement gathering, planning, resourcing and supplier management, costing/budgeting, implementation management and adoption for a large enterprise)
  • Experience in Enterprise Application environment is preferred
