We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager (sales) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team of sales executives. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and developing new business opportunities. This is a full-time position based in India.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets
- Manage a team of sales executives and provide coaching and support to achieve individual and team goals
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and finance to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 4-5 years of experience in sales management preferably in the retail industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a team of sales executives
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Willingness to travel for business purposes
