PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION:
The Assistant Manager Automation Business Process will be responsible for ensuring that Service processes, business systems and automation solutions are aligned with business requirements.
He will work closely with EU and WWI Service Management to ensure overall Department goals are met. This person will lead a team of individuals, collaborate with IT organization, and provide guidance for establishing and enhancing processes.
Roles and Responsibilities Lead a team of individuals and closely collaborate with Service Management, in order to ensure overall department performance, including support on business systems and processes. Lead efforts and allocate proper resources in assigned projects.
Provide expertise and guidance through a strong understanding of business systems and processes, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and other business requirements.
Partner with IT and other cross-functional teams to resolve system issues, define/develop future business requirements for any new system automation or enhancement, and support future-growth initiatives. Supervise team's performance, productivity, including planning, and training needs.
Drive team efficiency through key performance indicators. Establish team's expectations in line with Business Process Management, and clear direction to meet department's goals and objectives.
Lean and support projects as assigned by management.
Provide operational support to Service department end users.
Analyze end users needs and requests, identify and implement automation solutions using system standards and best practices.
Drive continuous improvement, including operational efficiency such as transactional automation. Maintain system tables, configuration, and/or master data.
Ensure documentation and maintenance of standard operating procedures and associated reference documentation for key processes.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 8 years relevant work experience in Service environment preferred. Experience in people management and leading a team.
Experience in leading continuous improvement initiatives and implementing system automation solutions or processes. Strong understanding of ERP and CRM systems (SAP, Salesforce, etc.) Strong experience in automating business system processes.
Experience in improving business process through machine learning. Strong knowledge of EDI transactions.
Experience working with Business Analysis/Reporting tools (SAP BI, Tableau, etc.) are preferred. Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills is required.
Effective project management and facilitation skills required.
Leadership, relationship building, influencing and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication skills with ability to speak within all levels of the organization.
Fluent in English. Ability to travel occasionally (max 5-10%) Ability to work during Europe office hours
