The Area Sales Manager is responsible for Sales of all Tranter products in defined territory. Quote preparation, negotiation and order finalization based on understanding and help of segment team for technical selections, sizing of PHE, selection of construction and type of unit, technical parameters, additional features, comparison with respect to competitors, technical discussions, application development, costing, trouble shooting, co-ordination with other dept. like segment, engineering, manufacturing, quality control, purchase, finance etc. keeping in view the statutory guidelines and company policy.
Accountabilities:
- Use of CRM for quotation related communication
- In time submission of quotations with desired techno-commercial details
- Order finalization in line with organization guidelines
- Use of VSM, MS SharePoint for internal communication related to order
- Follow MIS for monthly/yearly reports and KPI tracking
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead generation, customer visits, business development
- Key accounts and channel management
- Monthly reports submission as per MIS
- Understanding design, sizing of PHE, selection of construction and type of unit
- Competition information
- Costing and quotation preparation
- Participate in technical discussions
- Work with segment / application development
- Trouble shooting in post sales period
- Co-ordination between segment, engineering, manufacturing, quality control, purchase and finance etc.
- Presentations at potential customers
- Winning contract with techno-commercial clarity
Skills/Competencies required:
- Knowledge of types of heat exchangers, heat transfer principles, metallurgy, presentation, CRM, MS office etc.
Education, Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Experience 7 years in related area with BE in Chemical / Mechanical.
