Area Sales Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 7-12 years of experience in the job market context of India and a proven track record of successfully leading a sales team. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the sales operations in a specific geographic region, achieving sales targets, and developing and implementing sales strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets
• Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
• Maintain the distribution and channel sales in the assigned territory
• Identify new business opportunities and develop new accounts
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
• Manage and report on sales pipeline and forecast
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Provide regular feedback to senior management on sales performance and market trends

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
• 7-12 years of experience in sales, preferably in the job market context of India
• Proven track record of successfully leading a sales team and achieving sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
• Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel within the designated geographic region
• Knowledge of the local market and industry trends
