• Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated engineer committed to driving company growth, fostering business development, and, ensuring client and customer satisfaction. As an Application Engineer specializing in Factory Testing and Commissioning, you will be responsible for assessing business needs, designing and testing automation solutions, overseeing product testing and commissioning, managing customer installations and collaborating closely with our customer service teams to deliver exceptional support.

• Roles and Responsibilities:

Prepare Protection Logics and Interlock diagrams.

Review and prepare Protection Single Line Diagrams, AC & DC schematics, cable schedules, core sheets, wiring diagrams, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BoMs) for substation design packages developed by third parties or OEM engineering, in coordination with other disciplines.

Demonstrate sound knowledge in Substation protection systems and design philosophy (e.g., Distance Protection, Differential Protection - High Impedance and Low Impedance, REF Protection, O/C & E/F Protections, etc.).

Perform calculations for Relay Setting, CT & VT Sizing, etc.

Design Auxiliary Power Systems such as Low Voltage AC Panel & DC Panel requirements.

Prepare SCADA signal lists.

Interface knowledge with Primary Equipment such as Bay Controller Units / SCADA / RTU / Energy Meters is essential.

Familiarity with Mimic diagrams, Alarm systems, metering systems, SAS, etc.

Ability to produce (IED) protection and control device settings and configuration files.

Operate vendor-specific software tools for modern substation automation and protection equipment (e.g., MiCOM Studio, DIGSI, etc.).

Possess good knowledge of communication architecture for substation automation, tele protection, and SCADA systems.

Obtain customer approvals for designs and drawings.

Participate in customer meetings for design reviews and tender/project clarifications.

Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform Control and Protection engineering assignments.

• Required Qualifications:

BE or Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (EC).

Freshers or Professionals with 2-3 years of experience are welcome to apply.

Basic knowledge or hands-on experience with Transformers and Protection Relays is required.

Good knowledge or experience in Factory Testing is preferred.

Sound knowledge or experience in Automation is essential.

Configuration Testing knowledge or experience with Protocols such as CRP, SAS, RTU is desired.

Familiarity with Networking and other protocols is added advantage.

Knowledge or experience in Relay Panel Testing or SAS Panel Testing is beneficial.

Basic Knowledge or experience of Power Systems is necessary.

Experience working on third-party projects is an added advantage.

Good knowledge or experience in Troubleshooting is preferred.

Comfortable working at the factory (client's location).
