Analyst/Senior Analyst Forecasting
Job Description:
Candidate will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop short- and long-termoncology forecasts. Insights will be instrumental in guiding strategic decision-making across client organizations, to optimize resources and maximize demand.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and create robust forecasting models, encompassing both short-term and long-term horizons.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create and confirm forecast assumptions
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor activity, and other factors impacting the oncology landscape.
- Identify and assess key business issues that could influence product performance and market dynamics.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through compelling presentations and reports.
- Collaborate effectively with off-shore, on-shore teams, and client stakeholders (may including Sales, Marketing, and Finance)
- Stay abreast of the latest forecasting methodologies and best practices in the pharmaceutical industry.
Qualifications:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare forecasting, preferably with a focus on oncology.
- Experience with US and Global Forecasting is preferred
- Proven track record of developing and implementing accurate and reliable forecasting models.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, python) and advanced Excel functions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- A deep understanding of the pharma and oncology landscape and its unique challenges.
- Familiarity with Oncology data sources and their various pros and cons
- Experience building Monte Carlo simulations
