Job Description of Admission Officer:
The Admission Officer is a key role responsible for promoting MSU and driving student enrollment in the designated zone of Sikkim. This position requires a dynamic and results-oriented individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with schools, colleges, and educational institutions, organizing outreach activities, and guiding prospective students through the admission process.
Responsibilities:
Outreach:
oDevelop and implement effective outreach strategies to target potential students and their parents.
oOrganize and participate in educational fairs, seminars, and workshops to promote MSU.
oBuild and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, and educational institutions in South Sikkim.
oCreate and distribute marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and digital content.
Admissions:
oIdentify and generate admissions who meet MSU's admission criteria.
oConduct counseling sessions to guide students and their parents through the admission process.
oAssist with the application process, including document verification and fee submission.
oFollow up with prospective students to address their queries and provide necessary information.
oMeeting overall admission targets from the designated region.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business Administration, Education).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in using computers and relevant software (e.g., CRM, Microsoft Office).
Experience in sales, marketing, or education is preferred.
A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong understanding of the local education landscape in South / West Sikkim.
