Job Description

Position - AD SALES APAC

Company - Global distributor of entertainment content to OTT platforms (Prime Video, Disney Hot star etc.) and Television Networks around the world.

Location Mumbai

Experience 4+ yrs

Reporting to - International Revenue Head

Relevant Experience

Those passionate about both the B2B Sales and creative process in the business of entertainment.

Minimum 4 years/Maximum 10 years of experience. Minimum 3 years of AD sales experience. Your personal growth trajectory is however more important than your years of experience.

Deal-making capabilities. You will eat-sleep-breathe deal-making for licensing and development

contracts. It is stressful for some and invigorating for others.

Approach the sales process with finesse and depth as compared to a commodity sales approach.

We reject more content than we agree to distribute.

Most importantly, a stickler for process and operating guidelines. Process and CRM discipline is

of paramount importance to us.

You have extensive Ad Sales / B2B media sales experience.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The entertainment business is in a state of evolution. Two broad shifts in the business

1. Consumption of cross-border stories. Narcos, Money Heist, Squid Games, and likes to have

triggered a strong trend. As much as audiences want local stories, they are also consuming more

and more content from other countries. Audiences have expanded their choices beyond

Hollywood. Series backed by strong stories and strong performance are seeing increasing

demand.

2. Demand for local original productions. Global streamers are spending large dollars on original

productions. Demand for stories and talent is at an all-time high. This demand has opened up a

large opportunity for scripted formats.

Accountability:

Generating Revenue

Achieve $5Mn in revenue through Ad sales in APAC.

Licensing of Finished Tapes

Series - Fiction (8 - 16 Ep Seasons)

Drama Series - Fiction (40 - 150 Ep/ Multiple Seasons)

Licensing of Scripted and Unscripted Formats (Remake)

Series - Fiction (8 - 16 Ep Seasons)

Drama Series - Fiction (40 - 150 Ep Seasons)

Another 15+ shows in the acquisition pipeline. We also have distribution deals specifically for APAC with catalog owners from Europe, India, Indonesia, LATAM & Turkey

Territories:

Priority 1: Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Australia,

Priority 2:Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, China, Myanmar

Priority 3:Cambodia, New Zealand, Laos

Client Categories:

Pan Asian Broadcast Networks, Pan Asian OTT Networks, Local Free TV, Local Pay TV, Local OTT,

Series Producers for Scripted and Unscripted Formats

Growth Opportunities:

Lead a larger region and manage the global sales team.

Being accountable for managing a large P&L.

Opportunity to work and network with Global stakeholders.

Move on to lead sales teams at large scale organizations.
