Software testing jobs are involved with conducting trials of newly developed software for industries ranging from software publishers to video game developers to financial institutions and medical research companies. Testers work with software development teams to detect bugs and performance issues before a product reaches the consumer. Software testers have the freedom to work as independent contractors too.
A job in testing basically requires an associate degree in electronics technology or a related field. International certifications like ISTQB, CSTE, PMP and domain certifications like LOMA, AICPCU, NCFM, AHM helps gain more opportunities than others.
