BIW tooling BMW Grippers for Body Shop Application Grippers Design System Layout / Plant Layout Design of Geo Body Shop Process Surface Finish Selection of appropriate tolerances Design Knowledge in Machining / Assembly Fixtures PSA etc. Familiar with UG NX with Tool Kits Arc Welding Clamp Validations BIW Product / Process Structure development Understanding the Manufacturing Process Re-Spot Fixtures or CATIA V5 or Inventor or Solid works Weld points study and distribution check Spot Welding Selection of tools and standard parts for Jig & Fixture Design VW Able to Prepare 3D and 2D Layouts using Factory CAD / MicroStation / AutoCAD Preparing Design Validation Documents Selection of Machining Process Onsite / Practical manufacturing experience are preferred Familiar with OEM Standards like GM Familiar with Plant / System Layout for VW / GM and other OEMs Weld Gun Selection / redesign Preparation of Process Documentation Special Purpose Machine design / Automation design also preferred Selection of Materials and Heat Treatment Processes Geo Fixtures
