Job Title:Female Yoga Teacher

• Location: Edify World School, Attapur

• Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Female Yoga Teacher to join our team at Edify World School, Attapur. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in yoga and a passion for teaching young students. You will be responsible for planning and leading yoga sessions that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being among students.

• Key Responsibilities:

Plan and Conduct Yoga Sessions:

• Develop age-appropriate yoga sessions for students from different grade levels.

Ensure that sessions focus on both physical postures and mindfulness techniques.

Create a Positive Learning Environment: Establish a safe, welcoming, and supportive atmosphere for all students.

• Encourage students to participate and explore the benefits of yoga.

Student Assessment and Progress:

• Monitor and assess students progress and provide feedback.

Adapt yoga techniques and practices to meet the individual needs of students.

• Promote Healthy Lifestyle:

Educate students about the benefits of yoga and overall wellness.

• Encourage healthy habits and mindfulness in daily activities.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate yoga into the broader school curriculum.

Communicate effectively with parents regarding students progress and any concerns.

Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest yoga practices, techniques, and trends.

• Participate in professional development workshops and training as required.

• Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Certification in Yoga Teaching from a recognized institution.

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience: Prior experience teaching yoga to children and young adults.

• Experience working in a school setting is a plus.

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong knowledge of yoga postures, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to connect with young students and inspire them.

Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

• Working Conditions:

Conduct classes in the school's yoga room or other designated spaces.

• May require flexibility in working hours to accommodate different grade levels.

Engage in occasional after-school or weekend events related to wellness and yoga.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Attapur, Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
