Job Description: XSLT Developer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled XSLT Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in XML technologies and transformation languages, particularly XSLT. As an XSLT Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining XSLT stylesheets to transform XML data into various formats. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop XSLT stylesheets to transform XML data into desired output formats.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Analyze existing XML schemas and data structures to design efficient transformation processes.
- Test and debug XSLT code to ensure accuracy and reliability of transformations.
- Optimize XSLT stylesheets for performance and efficiency.
- Document technical specifications, design decisions, and implementation details.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to XML technologies and XSLT.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in XSLT development, with a strong understanding of XPath and XSLT functions.
- Proficiency in XML and related technologies such as XSD and XML Schema design.
- Experience working with XML parsers and processing XML data using programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with other transformation languages such as XQuery or XSL-FO is a plus.
