Job Description:
Alphanext Technology Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Xamarin to lead and participate in the architectural design, development, and enhancement of cutting-edge cross-platform mobile applications. This role demands deep technical knowledge, creativity, and a passion for delivering high-quality mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect & Develop: Design and implement cross-platform mobile applications using Xamarin, ensuring a seamless user experience across iOS, Android, and Windows.
- Technical Leadership: Provide in-depth technical expertise to solve complex problems and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- High-Quality Code: Write, review, and maintain clean, efficient, and reliable code to enhance application performance.
- DevOps Integration: Develop and monitor mobile apps within a DevOps model, employing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices using tools like Visual Studio App Center.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior architects and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications and prototypes.
- Testing & Debugging: Lead the creation of comprehensive test cases, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure error-free applications.
- Cloud Integration: Develop mobile applications with cloud-based solutions, including Azure integration for enterprise-level authentication and storage.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest in mobile development trends and continuously integrate new features such as offline sync and social media integration.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Work Experience (Years) : 5-8 Years
- Xamarin Expertise: Proficient in Xamarin Forms and Xamarin Native (iOS, Android) development, with experience in customizing controls and using Xamarin Studio or Visual Studio.
- Cross-Platform Development: In-depth knowledge of cross-platform development best practices, lifecycle management, and UX design.
- Cloud & CI/CD: Experience with cloud integrations (e.g., Azure) and DevOps practices using tools like HockeyApp or Visual Studio App Center.
- Agile Methodology: Strong experience working within Agile teams, using Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS).
- SOLID Principles & Design Patterns: Familiarity with MVVM architecture and SOLID principles.
- Third-Party Integrations: Experience with third-party components like Telerik/Syncfusion, Xamarin Binding, and SAP HANA REST API is a plus.
- App Store Deployment: Proven track record in deploying applications to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
