The project involved creating new Worksoft scripts in SAP ECC and also convert existing SAP ECC scripts to S/4HANA
There may be some non SAP applications as well like web / desktop which also may need to be automated using Worksoft
So candidate should have
- Very good understanding of Worksoft automation for SAP ECC,SAP S/4HANA and non SAP applications such as Web portals. Client asks detail questions on different sceanrio's and how those cane be automated using worksoft.
- Candidate should also know SAP module such as SD/MM/FICO (any SAP module will do) but he should have thorough knowledge of atleast one such module so that when he can understand test case himself and doesn't have to depend on other teams as much as possible. If candidate says he knows SAP SD, client will ask questions on different processes/Tcodes/tables involved in SAP SD to judge his knowledge. If candidate knows SAP MM questions will be asked in that area
- He should also know how worksoft integrates with other tools e.g. test management tool
- Good communication skills as he will interact with many other teams
- He should know other utilities like Continuous test manager etc work and how they need to be set up
- How test data needs to be set up for worksoft etc
