Job Description: -
Reporting to AP Manager, the SCM Analyst is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Oversee Strategic Sourcing and support the on-going analysis, design, and set-up of suppliers, supplier invoices and payments within Workday.
- Research and resolve system problems, unexpected results or process flaws and recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Support and lead continued set-up of business processes, workflows, security roles and user roles related to Spend Management.
- Oversee sourcing functions including units of measure, purchase items, requisitions, purchase orders, and receipts.
- Complete internal catalog data entry functions including loading and maintaining internal catalogs.
- Analyze data or facts and summarize and present findings in a compelling way.
- Work closely with financial team.
- Effectively instill trust and build consensus around business processes and design related to Spend Management and Procurement.
- Document changes and updates within Workday for effective change management and training needs.
- Create detailed functional and technical design documents including test plans, cases, and user training documents
- Provide thought leadership on potential enhancements, methodologies to improve overall experience.
- Partner with HR and TECH to ensure all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance OR equivalent working experience.
- Experience working or strong desire to learn Spend Management and Procurement.
- Possess willingness to learn and hit the ground running's.
- Microsoft Office Proficient.
