Job Description:
As a Workday Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations between Workday and various internal and external systems. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across different departments to understand their integration requirements and implement solutions that meet their needs. This role requires a deep understanding of Workday's architecture, integration tools, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders), Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect for various modules such as HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance.
- Design and configure inbound/outbound integrations to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with HRIS, IT, and business teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and propose technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Work closely with vendors and third-party providers to manage integrations and ensure smooth data exchange.
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and testing activities related to Workday integrations.
- Document technical specifications, integration processes, and change management procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to end-users on Workday integration functionalities and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing integrations with Workday, including Workday Studio development.
- Strong understanding of Workday's integration architecture, APIs, and integration tools (EIBs, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect).
- Experience with XML, XSLT, SOAP, and RESTful web services.
- Knowledge of HRIS processes and data structures related to HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday Integration Certification (Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect).
- Experience with Workday Report Writer and calculated fields.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
