Job Summary:

As a Workday Extend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions using Workday Extend. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of Workday's capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop custom applications and extensions using Workday Extend.

Collaborate with business analysts, functional teams, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and develop robust solutions.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Workday Extend applications.

Maintain and enhance existing Workday Extend solutions as needed.

Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, code comments, and user guides.

Stay current with Workday releases and enhancements to leverage new features and functionality.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2-3 years of experience developing within the Workday platform, specifically using Workday Extend.

Strong proficiency in Workday Extend, including custom application development.

Experience with Workday Studio, Workday Integration Cloud, and other related tools.

Solid understanding of Workday data model, security, and business process framework.

Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, XSLT, and other relevant languages.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Workday Certification in Extend or related areas.

Experience with Agile development
