• Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end development, including creating custom themes and plugins, integrating payment gateways, addressing security and performance issues, and ensuring smooth functionality. You will be tasked with creating responsive websites, optimizing performance, and ensuring that sites are secure and user-friendly.

• Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop the website front-end, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.

• Build and structure the website architecture, including database and server integration.

Customize and manage the website back-end, including database management and server setup.

• Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins as per client requirements.

Integrate payment gateways and manage related accounts.

• Conduct regular website performance tests, optimizing for speed and reliability.

Address website security and performance issues, implementing solutions to enhance both.

• Host websites and manage hosting setups including domain, CPanel, and SSL certificates.

Troubleshoot website issues and provide ongoing maintenance and support.

• Ensure regular updates and backups, and develop a website maintenance plan.

Monitor live website performance, making improvements as needed.

• Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in designing and building at least 10-15 WordPress websites.

• Expertise in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL/SQL.

Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, and payment gateway integrations.

• Proficiency in CPanel setup, domain registration, and hosting management.

Hands-on experience with WordPress page builders like Elementor, Divi, and Beaver.

• Knowledge of WordPress theme and plugin installation, customization, and development.

Familiarity with web design concepts like UX, UI, and site architecture.

• Experience with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.

Experience with digital marketing and SEO best practices.

• Knowledge of version control tools such as GitHub and BitBucket.

Ability to create and customize website features through PHP scripting.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other CMS platforms such as Shopify.

• Familiarity with security protocols and implementing security best practices for websites.

Understanding of performance optimization techniques including caching and code minimization.
