We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our web presence, ensuring an optimized and seamless user experience for our platform's visitors and users.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites, ensuring high performance, speed, and reliability.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, UX/UI, and backend developers, to implement website features and functionalities.
Customize and extend WordPress plugins and themes to meet specific project requirements and optimize user experience.
Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in WordPress development, suggesting and implementing improvements where applicable.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, contributing to the team's growth and skill enhancement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Proven Experience in the Field.
Proven experience (5 years) as a WordPress Developer, with a portfolio showcasing successful WordPress projects.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and responsive design principles.
Strong expertise in PHP, and MySQL, and experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), debugging tools, and web performance optimization techniques.
Experience with Google BigQuery (nice to have)
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
