Fashion Designer Womens Ready To Wear

Job Overview:

As a Fashion designer in our newly launch Ready to Wear line, you will be working under the creative director on conceptualising and creating RTW designs. Within our RTW division, you will be responsible for the designing of western silhouettes from gowns, dresses, tops, shirts, skirts and more. It is key the relevant candidate has experience with working within the Luxury RTW domain, and align with the aesthetics of the brand vision.

Key Responsibilities:

· Research and create mood boards for the direction of our RTW line.

· Working on brainstorming, sketching & ideating on concepts/designs.

· Source new fabrics and embroidery materials in line with the brands DNA.

· Oversee the complete execution of the sample development.

· Create artworks and sketches digitally.

· Working with Masters to create Toiles.

· Experience in pattern making and draping

· Work on surface developments, hand and machine embroidery.

Requirements and Skills:

· Degree in Design (preferably from NIFT, NID, FIT-NYC, LCF/CSM-London)

· Out of the box vision and experience working with Luxury Pret Brands and Export/Buying houses.

· An understanding of Gaurav Guptas brand vision and customer profile

· Out of the box vision and experience in Indian embroideries like Zardozi, Aari etc.

· Proficiency in softwares like MS Office, Procreate, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

· Good communication and ability to work within a team.
