We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Wellness Head to lead our wellness department and ensure the delivery of exceptional wellness experiences to our guests. The Wellness Head will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our wellness offerings, including spa services, fitness programs, holistic therapies, and wellness retreats. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wellness, a strong background in holistic health practices, and the ability to inspire and lead a team of wellness professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the wellness department in alignment with the overall objectives of the resort.
Program Development: Design innovative and comprehensive wellness programs, including spa treatments, fitness classes, mindfulness activities, and wellness retreats, catering to the diverse needs of our guests.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of skilled wellness professionals, including massage therapists, fitness instructors, yoga teachers, and holistic practitioners.
Guest Experience: Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by maintaining exceptional standards of service and professionalism across all wellness offerings.
Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the wellness department, including scheduling, inventory management, budgeting, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, sales, and food and beverage, to promote wellness offerings and create integrated guest experiences.
Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in wellness and hospitality, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
Job Expectations:
Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Hospitality Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Certification in relevant wellness disciplines such as massage therapy, yoga, nutrition, or fitness training.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the wellness industry, preferably in a luxury resort or hospitality setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Passion for holistic health and wellness, with a commitment to promoting overall well-being among guests and staff.
Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in wellness and hospitality.
Minimum Qualification
