Description
We are seeking a Welding Manager/Sr. Welding Engineer with 15-25 years of experience in Heavy Fabrication to oversee and manage welding operations in our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all welding activities meet industry standards and are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage welding operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Develop and implement welding procedures and quality control standards
- Manage and train welding personnel
- Ensure all welding equipment is well-maintained and in good working condition
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve welding-related issues
- Prepare reports and maintain records of welding activities
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or related field/ MTech Welding Technology
- 15-25 years of experience in welding operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- In-depth knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and materials
- Experience with welding procedures and quality control standards
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry standards
- AWS Certified Mandatory
