Description
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding metal components together to fabricate or repair products, equipment, and structures. The candidate must have a minimum of 2-12 years of experience in the job market context of India.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand
- Perform MIG, TIG, and other types of weld based on project needs
- Select appropriate welding equipment and tools needed for each project
- Set up components for welding according to specifications
- Monitor equipment for appropriate usage and temperature
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of universal standards and specifications in order to meet project requirements
- Develop proficiency in welding techniques and procedures
- Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work area
Skills and Qualifications
- 2-12 years of experience in welding in the job market context of India
- Diploma or certification in welding from a recognized institution
- Extensive knowledge of welding principles and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and other types of welding equipment
- Proficient in measuring and cutting materials accurately
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to maintain a safe work environment
