Job Location- Bangalore

Responsibilities-

Solely accountable for end-to-end HR Onboarding activities for Merck India organization
Performs operational and transactional work as that of an Onboarding specialist role but with a degree of complexity.
Pro- active co-ordination and accountability of end to end onboarding process, focusing on managing, tracking and monitoring of HR and IT related activities and tasks.
Continuous improvement management by requesting for feedback and improve the services based on it
Capturing and provisioning of these feedback to the manager and other interface parties to further improve the onboarding experience.
Monitoring the level of satisfaction of new hires and identifying possible next steps based on it
Monitor and action tickets in Service now system regarding recruitment & onboarding and validate new hires reports.
Initiate Welcome and guidance Calls to the new hires after offer is accepted/contract is signed to welcome the New Hire and to answer to possible questions, together with guiding the New Hire through the paperwork needed for hiring process and all other prior Day1 activities.
Guide and assist managers on onboarding portal about IT & Access, Org announcements, IT ticket to be raised, welcome portals, Day 1 plan of action, assign buddy.
Ensuring delivery of logistics for Day 1 for all employees (IT delivery, access cards etc.)
Send follow up emails after onboarding calls and tracking HR data completion, and ensuring that all new hires have all necessary firsthand information prior to Day 1
Welcoming the New Joiners on their start date along with the necessary technical assistance to set up their hardware and software.
Proactively work with TA, managers and HRBP's to communicate on the status of new joiners.
Ensure support for the new hires for the first 3 months of employment
Framing communication for rollout to new hires ensuring that all onboarding instructions, play books, procedures and process diagrams are revised.
Support in developing the Onboarding process in India based on the Global Standard and local requirements.
Being constantly updated regarding the changes and improvements that are taking part in the Onboarding area within Merck.
Other tasks that may leverage the Onboarding process in India and are delegated by the direct manager.
Maybe assigned to drive or participate in initiatives or projects as determined by leadership team.
Coordinating with the Auditors for all compliance matter and being involved in audit as per the requirement.
Understand and compliance of confidentiality requirements to perform HR activities due to sensitive nature of work.

Qualification and Experience

Bachelor's degree (MBA desirable) with 0-3 years of relevant experience in HR with at least one year in onboarding and employee experiences
Familiarity with Service now tool will be a plus

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Power point
Strong stakeholder management and customer orientation skills
Possess strong problem solving skills
Detail oriented with an eye for continuous improvement
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
