Fusion Application product development is looking for positions in its DevOps organization to build, maintain and support the internal Development, QA and various other Fusion Applications environments automations. Person taking up this position should interact with multiple cross-functional teams and will be involved in development and automating/patching of these environments along with multiple Oracle Cloud PaaS, SaaS Integrations and CDN enablement. It also involves an active participation in various proof of concepts projects in a fast-paced development cycle.

NOTE: This position requires you to work in a rotational shift model, which involves Weekend and/or Night shifts.

Mandatory Skill Sets

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, MCA or equivalent with 3+ years of experience.
  • Develop, analyse and maintain tools that support and automate processes for software product release.
  • Excellent knowledge in WebLogic Administration and managing clustered and non- clustered WebLogic applications. Able to debug and troubleshoot complex WebLogic applications.
  • Strong SQL and Database Administration skills.
  • Strong knowledge on Build and Release Management Processes and build/deployment process automation using tools Python or Shell Scripts.
  • Exposure to automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, Docker, or comparable tool.
  • Strong knowledge of Source Code Management Systems like Git.
  • Exposure to Fusion Application Administration is another advantage and preferred.
  • Exposure to Cloud related technologies, knowledge on Oracle Cloud technologies is added advantages.
  • Team members will engage in operational activities including monitoring, patching, and troubleshooting of Oracle Fusion Middleware, Fusion Applications, Oracle internal tools and Oracle Cloud services.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and fast to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent decision making, communication and presentation skills to enable presenting ideas at various forums.
  • Being in a shift model, should be able to work independently, at the same time help, and drive the team in technical aspects.

Career Level - IC2

As a member of the DevOps software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform automation development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing DevOps applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. You will also be responsible to maintaining and patching the fleet of internal development and QA infrastructures and systems. Build enhancements within an existing architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
