Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Web3 Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building core applications using Go, experience with the Cosmos SDK, and proficiency in writing smart contracts using Solidity. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems that power our platform, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain core backend applications using Go.
2. Design and implement blockchain-related solutions using Cosmos SDK.
3. Write, deploy, and manage smart contracts using Solidity.
4. Build and maintain robust APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications.
5. Implement secure and efficient pointer systems to manage data structures.
6. Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
7. Ensure the scalability and reliability of backend services.
8. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality performance.
9. Stay updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technology and best practices.
10. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Required Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a backend engineer in the Web3/crypto space.
2. Strong proficiency in Go and experience with the Cosmos SDK.
3. Proficiency in writing smart contracts using Solidity.
4. Solid understanding of blockchain principles and decentralized technologies.
5. Experience in designing and implementing APIs.
6. Familiarity with pointer systems and data structure management.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
9. Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment.
10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the DeFi space and a solid understanding of DeFi protocols.

Familiarity with Bitcoin and its ecosystem.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and orchestration.

Knowledge of security best practices in backend and blockchain development.

Understanding of database management systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
