What You'll Do:
- As a WebFocus Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining WebFocus-based solutions to meet our organization's business needs.
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and create reports and dashboards using WebFocus.
- Additionally, you will provide technical expertise, support, and troubleshooting for WebFocus-related issues.
- Design, develop, and maintain WebFocus reports, dashboards, and applications according to business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements, translating them into actionable insights and visualizations.
- Build and optimize SQL queries, procedures, and scripts to extract and manipulate data from various sources for use in WebFocus.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, troubleshooting issues and optimizing performance as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in WebFocus and data visualization techniques.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies related to WebFocus development and deployment.
- Document technical specifications, user guides, and training materials for WebFocus solutions.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a WebFocus Developer or Engineer, with a strong understanding of WebFocus architecture and components.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, DB2).
- Hands-on experience with WebFocus tools and technologies, including WebFocus Developer Studio, InfoAssist, and ReportCaster.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work within established deadlines.
- Experience with other BI and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
