Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Web Developer with a strong background in back-end development, particularly in PHP and WordPress. As a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing, and maintaining web applications and websites, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and functionalities for web applications and websites.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Architect efficient and scalable solutions using PHP and WordPress, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Optimize website performance and implement caching mechanisms to improve loading times.
Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution of technical problems.
Stay updated with the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in web development.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience as a Senior Web Developer with expertise in backend development using PHP and WordPress.- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Solid understanding of web server configuration and deployment processes.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
