Designation: WEBSITE DEVELOPER E-COMMERCE
Experience: 2 years minimum
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing e-commerce websites on Shopify that are easy to navigate, SEO-friendly, and feature high-quality, relevant content and images.
- Optimizing website structure and design to improve bounce rates, ensuring users stay engaged longer and conversion rates increase.
- Creating new products, updating existing ones, adding them to the website catalog, and managing inventory levels.
- Designing and developing websites using web design software such as Workflow, Figma, and AdobeXD.
- Building and maintaining online stores with an e-commerce platform such as Shopify or WordPress.
- Developing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Optimizing website performance, including load times, mobile usability, and SEO rankings.
- Incorporating 3rd party services and integrations for enhanced functionality.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure site functionality, SEO, and bounce rates meet business goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in e-commerce development.
- Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar e-commerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, including keyword optimization, meta tags, and alt text, to improve search rankings.
- Knowledge of reducing bounce rates through effective UX/UI improvements and engaging content strategies.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles to create seamless and user-friendly interfaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of front-end and back-end development techniques.
