As a Web Developer, you will play a critical part in defining and building out a fast, performance and conversion focused marketing website, while working closely with a team of designers, project managers and other engineers.
Responsibilities:
- will help design and develop the next generation of features for the website.
- projects, bring prototypes, content and designs to life with well-crafted and well tested web pages.
- cohesive layouts using atomic design-based component structures.
- artwork files (i.e., Figma) into functional, standards-compliant HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
- directly responsible for one or more functional areas of the website, which could include SEO & performance, security, internationalization, or architecture.
- taking on tasks ranging from front end visual enhancements, bug fixes, building out new pages and components, to performance and infrastructure improvements
- timelines, develop plans and make recommendations on new projects
- our web properties including performing regular maintenance, applying updates and fixes
- exceptional customer service by resolving urgent requests and responding to requests for help.
- with our internal design, content, SEO and conversion optimization teams to create an amazing website experience that is visually stunning, SEO performance and geared towards self-service signup and lead generation.
Qualifications:
- level knowledge of semantic HTML, modern CSS/SASS, JavaScript / jQuery, ES6, React / Vue.js
- with frameworks such as Next.js, Gatsby or similar
- working with headless content management systems (i.e. Contentful, Sanity, etc.) and/or headful CMS's (WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, etc.)
- defining and creating content models to build well-structured content
- familiarity with modern front-end bundlers, package managers and build tools including Webpack, npm and yarn.
- working in a continuous delivery environment.
- of cloud hosting technologies such GCP or AWS is nice to have
- experience with Python, PHP or similar high level server side languages is desirable
- with CloudFlare integration and management is nice to have
- working with and mentoring junior developers.
