Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Front- End Developer (or Web Designer, depending on what you prefer to call yourself) who will be assisting our team and spearheading our development efforts. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a high- energy, start- up environment and have a passion for learning evolving web technologies.
Qualifications:
B.Sc - Computers, B.Tech/ B.E. - Computers, BCA - Computers, Diploma - Any Specialization, B.Com - Commerce, Any Graduate - Any Specialization
2 years of web development experience required Desired Skillset:
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Proficient understanding of JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Familiarity and ability to work with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Corel, etc
Good understanding of Wordpress and ability to work with themes and plugins
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
Knowledge of designing creatives for Social Media and Display Advertising is an added advantage
In- depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment) Responsibilities:
Create websites in Wordpress using professional themes
Use markup languages like HTML to create user- friendly web pages
Maintain and improve website
Optimize applications for maximum speed and load times
Design mobile- based features
Collaborate with back- end developers and web designers to improve usability
Get feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers
Create quality mockups and prototypes
Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency
Stay up- to- date on emerging technologies
Develop new user- facing features
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
