Web Content Writer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Web Content Writer at Shamyaan Enterprises Pvt Ltd in Kolkata. The Web Content Writer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks that include web content writing, content strategy development, content management, research, and writing. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Qualifications

• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
• Proofread and edit blog posts before publication
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Promote content on social media
• Identify customers needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Update website content as needed

Additional qualifications such as excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines will be beneficial. Experience in the industry and a relevant degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field are also preferred.
