Senior Associate/Management Trainee or Asst Manager -Reconciliation and Reporting, Wealth Operations
Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Wealth operations professional. In this role you will be responsible for cash and position reconciliation where you will need to understand the recon process upstream, downstream. You will be working on identification, research, code, comment and responsible to resolve the exceptions/ breaks which includes posting of the transactions, verifying of the processed transactions and reporting to the stakeholders within SLA.


Key Responsibilities:
. Experience on Shadow/Non-Custody/External Reconciliation is desirable.
. Good understanding of financial products like Bonds, Mutual Funds, MBS, SWAPS, Equities, etc. is required
. Knowledge of reconciliation and reporting is required. Good to have knowledge on Trade Settlements lifecycle, corporate actions and Accruals.
. Hands on experience on Manual & Automated recons is required.
. A good understanding of resolving out of balance or out of proof recons at account level is required.
. Experience of posting transactions on accounting book for exception resolution would be required.
. Experience of matching rules setup using Intellimatch would have added advantage.
. Understanding around business transitions and required documentation will have added advantage.
. Good knowledge of MS Excel is required.
. Candidate should have exposure around audits (internal and external) and strong understanding around Risk and Control framework.
. Establish strong relationship with onshore counterparts and should be capable of handling Onshore Queries and Issues.
. Experience of applications like Global Plus, AddVantage Trust Desk & Intellimatch applications would have added advantage.


Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
. Any Graduate (PG an added advantage)
. Effective probing & root cause analysis skills
. Knowledge of Reconciliation and Reporting and financial markets.
. Relevant work experience in a middle/back office in Financial services firm is required.


Competencies
. Ability to discuss process issues, concerns with onshore counterparts and get it resolved.
. Organized approach: Manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
. Self-starter: Work autonomously and as part of a global team
