Job Summary:
The Wealth Manager for Distribution will be responsible for expanding the firm's network by acquiring and managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), distributors, financial intermediaries, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify and onboard HNWIs and distributors to expand the firm's wealth management client base.
- Develop and maintain relationships with financial intermediaries, distributors, and other partners to ensure effective distribution of wealth management products.
- Provide personalized wealth management solutions to clients based on their financial objectives and risk profiles.
2.Product Distribution & Sales:
- Drive the distribution of the company's wealth management and investment products through various channels (e.g., financial intermediaries, distributors, etc.).
- Ensure product awareness and provide in-depth knowledge of investment solutions and strategies to distribution partners.
- Meet distribution and sales targets by identifying new business opportunities and closing deals with distributors and clients.
3.Advisory & Planning:
- Provide expert advice on financial planning, tax optimization, retirement planning, estate planning, and investment strategies.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and present tailored financial plans to clients and distributors.
- Maintain an updated understanding of market trends and product offerings.
4.Relationship Development:
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients, distributors, and financial partners to ensure continuous business growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, research, marketing) to enhance service delivery and product development.
- Ensure excellent client service and satisfaction through regular reviews and client engagement.
5.Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies in all client and distribution activities.
- Prepare reports on client activity, distribution performance, and market trends for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA or professional certification (CFA, CFP, etc.) is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in wealth management, distribution, or financial advisory services.
- Proven experience in managing HNWI relationships and distribution channels.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, tax planning, estate planning, and retirement solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive sales growth in a highly competitive market.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in wealth management.
- Preferably certified NISM Series V-A Mutual Fund Distributors Certification.
