We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to join our client's team at ReeferON Supply Chain Solutions.
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring effective inventory management. This role is crucial in optimizing fulfillment processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee warehouse staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Optimize warehouse processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to maintain accurate stock levels and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and supply chain, to streamline warehouse operations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Enforce safety and security regulations to create a secure work environment for warehouse personnel.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and external vendors to meet operational needs.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate warehouse performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Optimize warehouse layout and organization to facilitate smooth material flow and efficient storage.
- Contribute to the development and management of the warehouse budget, including cost control and expense monitoring.
- Lead strategic initiatives to enhance overall warehouse performance and operational excellence.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and management to provide regular updates on warehouse operations and performance.
- Resolve any issues or challenges related to warehouse operations in a timely and effective manner.
- Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to warehouse operations, including OSHA and FDA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations management, including personnel supervision and process optimization.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and related technology to drive operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to implement process improvements based on data insights.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Thorough understanding of inventory management best practices within a warehouse setting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to drive operational excellence across diverse stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing relationships with external vendors and third-party logistics providers.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities to drive continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

- Experience in budget management and cost control practices.
- Certifications in supply chain management, logistics, or related fields are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications for data analysis and reporting.
